Partner

Belinda Morgan focuses her practice on employee benefits and executive compensation. In the employee benefits area, Belinda’s work centers on the design and administration of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, defined benefit pension plans, and 403(b) plans for non-profit employers.  With respect to executive compensation, Belinda counsels both for-profit and non-profit companies on establishing and maintaining all types of executive compensation programs, such as stock options, restricted stock, phantom stock arrangements, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements (including 457(b) and 457(f) arrangements), and executive employment agreements. In addition, Belinda regularly provides specialist support for the benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions, for both buy- and sell-side transactions.

Belinda is a partner in the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice, and is also a member of Foley’s Labor & Employment practice group and its Health Care & Life Sciences sector. She is also a member of the Chicago office’s Wellness Committee, which helps promote a culture of physical and mental well-being for the firm’s Chicago office.

She is also a frequent speaker on Foley’s Employee Benefits Broadcasts, a series of web conferences that provide participants with knowledgeable insights on noteworthy employee benefits topics.
